An individual undertaking this course with Caring Alliance will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:
1. Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills
2. Numeracy skills to calculate and check correct dosage of medication, expiry dates and client information including basic calculations of ratios and volume
3. Reading skills to correctly check and interpret client information and dosage instructions
4. Language skills to appropriately greet and converse with clients to explain medication requirements and obtain client consent
5. Online study options: students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online studies.
Upon completing HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid, participants will be equipped to manage serious and complex emergencies, providing advanced care to stabilise individuals and ensure their safety. This training is essential for those who need to deliver a higher level of first aid in critical situations, ensuring the best possible outcomes in emergency scenarios.

HLTAID009 (supersedes HLTAID001) – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID010 (supersedes HLTAID002 )– Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
