This course applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

4. Communicate details of the incident.

5. Review the incident.

Entry requirements and Prerequisites

Is this course right for you?

Participants must have the physical capacity to perform all practical demonstrations including 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor and performing rescue breathing techniques on manikins.

Online study options: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.

Upon completing HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid, participants will be equipped to manage serious and complex emergencies, providing advanced care to stabilize individuals and ensure their safety. This training is essential for those who need to deliver a higher level of first aid in critical situations, ensuring the best possible outcomes in emergency scenarios.
