This course is designed to build your skills in aged care. You will gain knowledge in areas such as:
- Facilitate the empowerment of older people
- Provide support to people living with dementia
- Meet personal support needs
- Deliver care services using a palliative approach
- Facilitate the empowerment of people with disability
Learning Outcomes
- Help clients with domestic duties and personal care needs
- Help clients with their social and emotional health
- Aid clients to move safely from one area to another
- Assist clients navigate the NDIS system and gain access to other services
- Empower clients to feel independent and reach their goals

During your study you’ll need to provide your teacher with the following evidence:
A National Police Check (NPC)
An NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
Vaccinations which can include COVID, hepatitis A and B, and influenza
A Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Any additional evidence your work placement provider requires
